About Vincent Ng
I am best known for my authentic approach and ability to get things done in grant writing, facilitation, and coaching in Singapore and New York.
From 2017–2023, I spent 6 years building A Good Space, Singapore's first co-operative of changemakers — disbursing $1.12M in short-term assistance during the pandemic, activating 90 citizens to prototype ideas for migrant workers, and designing a youth mental wellness centre for the government.
At age 18 we are asked to pick a degree when the real choice is what life to pick. I want to use my life to reduce suffering: a world where every human being has access to support networks, institutions and programs — care provided first by fellow citizens, affirming agency and dignity.
Principles I live by
- Service — leave a place a little better than I found it.
- Express Curiosity — listen to understand.
- Non-Violence — own emotions, see triggers as teachers.
- Seek Intention — align language, body, emotions and needs.
- Entrepreneurial — pull together resources for value.
- Integrity — do what I say, even when nobody is watching.
